El Mirador captures the very essence of the region's prized Sidra varietal, characterised by a juicy sweetness of peach and pear, complemented by the delicate floral undertones of wildflower honey.
Nestled along the Andean foothills in La Papaya region, El Mirador farm derives its name from the expansive views of the surrounding valley, a panorama embellished with cascading waterfalls and fruit trees. Characterised by its remote and rugged terrain, making it challenging to access, the region is populated by smallholder farmers, many of whom are held back due to a lack of access to essential facilities and infrastructure. As part of Qima's entry into Ecuador, we seek to champion its silent smallholders and tackle the bottlenecks and limitations of post-harvest processing infrastructure and traceability.
