Stone fruits, florals and an intense honey-like sweetness shine through in this truly stunning Yemenia nano-lot from the Bait Alal village of Hayma Kharijiya, West Yemen. Sourced through Qima Coffee’s fresh cherry supply chain, the Qima Team collects only the ripest red cherries from the farm gate and transports them at the earliest to state-of-the-art processing centres. There, centuries-old traditional Yemeni drying techniques meet their revamped, 21st-century selves to produce the exceptionally clean naturally processed coffee in your hand. Named after a waterfall close to the farming region, which only flows during the rains, Kojafah is one of our favourite nano-lots of this year. It’s a coffee full of complexity from hot to cold, and one that carries the pride of a farming region with an unmatched legacy of renown for exceptional coffee cultivation.
