In 2010, Manuel and his sisters established Finca San Antonio along the highlands of the Andes in Loja, southwestern Ecuador, after inheriting the land from his late father. Renowned for its gastronomic culture and biodiverse conditions suitable for agriculture, coffee growing is a prominent occupation for farmers in the province.
As part of our work in Ecuador, we closely support smallholder and first-generation farmers like Manuel by improving their post-harvest processing to bring exquisite coffees to the market and champion the stories of their lives and land.
We proudly present to you Manuel’s first harvest: a washed coffee that oozes with crisp notes of apricot, yellow peach and sweet bread pastry – best enjoyed as a filter.
